School leaders from across North America will gather outside Chicago on April 21-23, 2005, to share what’s working to build student achievement and reach performance goals.

Highlights of the HOPE Foundation’s Eighth National Spring Summit in Naperville, IL, include:

  • Michael Fullan, who will focus on sustaining school improvement through school, district, and state reform (tri-level reform) and learning communities
  • Mike Klonsky, Co-Director of the Small Schools Workshop, who will conduct a Building Small Schools breakout session
  • Pedro Noguera, Al Bertani, Ingrid Carney, Steve Edwards, Deborah Wortham, and Alan M. Blankstein, who will present new information on building leadership capacity, sustaining successful learning communities, and progressively closing achievement gaps.

Participants will walk away with strategies and processes to build more effective, comprehensive systems and eliminate random acts of improvement. A limited number of seats are left, so fill out and return: http://www.hopefoundation.org/events/naperville05/SMALLSCHOOLS_Web.pdf or contact us at 800-627-0232 to reserve your spot.
